Rum And Coke Goes Rogue

Here’s how you take a rum and coke and give it a Rogue twist.


It starts in the hazelnut orchards of Kirk Family Filberts, our friends and next-door neighbors to Rogue Farms in Independence, Oregon.

Then loaded into crates and driven to the Kirk’s processing building to be washed, sorted, and bagged.

The Kirk’s have been growing hazelnuts for generations. It’s their nuts that we roast and infuse in the still to create Rogue Spirits Hazelnut Spice rum – crafted at the first rum distillery in Oregon.

Next we gather honey produced by the 7,140,289 honeybees of Rogue Farms.

The honey from our honeybees is used in every batch of Rogue Root Beer, the second ingredient in our Rogueish rum and coke. We call it the Uncle John, a sweet blend of Rogue Farms honey and the Kirk’s hazelnuts.

Ingredients:
1.5 ounces Rogue Spirits Hazelnut Spice Rum
4 ounces Rogue Soda Root Beer.

Preparation:
Combine in a rocks glass, add ice and stir.
