It’s only March and Rogue Spirits has racked up 11 medals from the most respected and toughest spirits competitions in the world.
Just this week, we earned five medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for our Oregon Rye Whiskey, Single Malt Vodka, Spruce Gin, Dead Guy Whiskey and Single Malt Whiskey. We were up against 1,850 entries, the most crowded field ever for this event. This is on top of the six awards we earned at American Craft Spirits Awards just a couple of weeks ago.
Who do we thank? Let’s start with Distilling Wizard Jake Holshue for his magic in the distillery, and Rogue Brewmaster John Maier who crafted the wash for our whiskeys and Single Malt Vodka. Let’s also not forget the farmers at Rogue Farms who grew the malting barley and rye.
But we also owe a debt of gratitude to the judges and the other fine craft distillers. Whether we win or lose, there’s nothing like going up against the best in the world to find out what we’re made of, and to return home with renewed commitment to the Rogue Spirits Revolution.
