Waiting is easy. Anticipation is hard.
We’re waiting for a spell of weather without rain so the soil can dry out and we can move in the heavy equipment. We’re anticipating seeding the 2013 crop of Dare™ 2-row malting barley. There’s about three weeks of work in between.

That includes plowing new soil, and plowing last year’s field. About 50 acres or so. That’s followed by discing and harrowing. Each step breaks down the soil into smaller clumps and finer texture. The best kind of seeding bed.
A lot of work goes into every shot of Rogue Spirits. And this is how it starts.
