Oregon Rye Whiskey earned bronze at the International Whisky Competition.
Not halfway through the year and Rogue’s spirits have taken awards home by the bunch. Oregon Rye Whiskey (with an ‘e’) was awarded bronze for the Best American Rye Whiskey category at the International Whisky (no ‘e’) Competition.
Only one gold, one silver and one bronze are given in each category. The judges are all respected experts in the spirits industry, including sommeliers, beer judges, mixologists and more. We’re honored to have Rogue Spirits recognized by this prestigious panel.
The International Whisky Competition’s goal is to bring as many whiskies from around the world to be tasted and rated by a professional tasting panel. Unlike other competitions, the tasting panel is presented with one whisky at a time, to ensure each whisky gets the proper attention. In-depth notes are taken at every step for review ultimately to be compiled by the tasting panel. The competition awards only three medals (Gold, Silver & Bronze) per category. With seven months left in the year, we hope to earn a few more accolades for Rogue Spirits.
