Grand Rapids, Michigan-based beverage director, Mae Governale took Rogue Spirits and crafted up a couple cocktails just for us. The first of these incorporates Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey into The Banana Stand.
Mae Governale became a beverage director in Grand Rapids, Michigan after spending two years running one of Chicago's most loved music venues. Before that she spent a decade bartending in Chicago and at some of our favorite Portland joints. She is survived by her darling cat, Blanche.
That's why we knew that Mae would do right by Dead Guy Whiskey. Drawing inspiration from everyone's favorite fictional dessert booth, Mae crafted this cocktail for us.
THE BANANA STAND
2oz Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey
0.25oz Fernet Branca
0.25oz Giffard Banane du Bresil Liquor
2 dashes Bittermen's Mole Bitters
Combine ingredients and stir then strain over a large ice cube.
