Rogue Ales & Spirits celebrates the end of the season with an employee party.
As the remains of a monsoon rolled in over Newport, Ore. on October 13th, it was pretty clear: Summer had ended. It seemed a fitting day to toast to the end of the season — and a good one at that.
Each summer, visitors flock to the coast. Maybe they’re there to stick their toe in the ocean or taste fresh Pacific seafood. Either way, a lot of them come through our doors and we’re thankful to have them and honored they chose to spend their summer days with us.
But things slow down a little bit when summer ends and it gives us a chance to reflect and toast to a good season. That stormy day, Rogues came together in the new section of our brewery which is still under construction but should be finished before next summer.
Over oysters and ales, we shared stories of our summer and celebrated birthdays and anniversaries while our kids played in the bouncy castle, Rogue Nation President Big Al greeted each of us (he’d parked the Rogue Nation RV-Force-One out front) and we opened a few gifts from our fearless leader, Brett Joyce.
It was a good summer and to all the Rogues that came to see us, thank you.
