Oregonian Picks Pumpkin Patch Ale

The newspaper tasted 10 pumpkin beers and chose Rogue as the best.

A group of five writers from the Oregonian went shopping for pumpkin beer at stores in Portland, Ore. They found and tried 10, including one from Elysian and one from Dogfish Head, and when they ranked them, Rogue Ales Pumpkin Patch Ale came out on top.

Every year, we're proud of how we craft our Pumpkin Patch Ale from ground to glass. So when others take notice, like The Oregonian did this week, we're not surprised.

After trying 10 pumpkin beers from all over the country, Andre Munier, a writer for The Oregonian, explained that five of "The Oregonian/OregonLive newsroom's pickiest beer palates" ranked them from worst to best. Their conclusion: Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale was the best of the pack.

We say, cheers to that. Try it for yourself: use our Rogue Finder to find Pumpkin Patch Ale near you. You might even find this year's limited-edition black bottles.
