5 IPAs to get you through all 31 Days of May.
This year’s IPA May arrives with a big announcement: we’re welcoming a new member to our Hop Family line, 5 Hop IPA. The black sheep of the family, 5 Hop has a darker personality, with flavors of citrus and pine from five varieties of Rogue Farms hops and has the added bonus of a roasted malt finish.
The long-awaited release of 5 Hop Black IPA rounds out our award-winning 4, 6, 7 and 8 Hop IPA family, a series that has garnered over 200 national and international awards, just in time for IPA May.
As hop farmers ourselves, we recognize the most important ingredient of world-class lagers and ales is hops. So we’re spending all May saluting the eight hop varieties we grow at Rogue Farms by featuring the Hop Family.
Get to know the Hop Family:
4 Hop IPA is a meticulously crafted yet approachable session IPA made with 4 of the 8 hops grown at Rogue Farms: Rebel, Freedom, Yaquina and Alluvial.
5 Hop Black IPA, our newest Hop Family member, features 5 hops from our Farms: Liberty, Yaquina, Freedom, Alluvial and Rebel.
6 Hop IPA is brewed with 6 varieties of Rogue Farms hops to create a big, beautiful bite: Liberty, Revolution, Independent, Freedom, Yaquina and Alluvial all go into the mix.
7 Hop IPA is the original Rogue Farms IPA, with a bold and balanced flavor from 7 hop varieties: Liberty, Newport, Revolution, Rebel, Independent, Freedom and Alluvial.
8 Hop IPA, the boss of the IPA family with its brash and burly flavor, showcases 8 varieties of Rogue Farms hops: Liberty, Newport, Revolution, Independent, Freedom, Rebel, Yaquina and Alluvial.
For the entire month, the Hop Family IPAs will be featured on taps and in bottles at all Rogue Public Houses and select retailers around the country. Find the nearest one to you using Rogue’s Beer Finder.
