The Long And Short Of The Rogue Farms Cucumbers

This being #CucumberDay, we figure it’s as good of a time as any to show some love to this under appreciated vegetable.

We got into cucumbers big time this spring at Rogue Farms, when we planted an entire acre of them in the field next to our jalapeños, Dream Pumpkins and Wigrich Corn.

In just one month we went from this…

We planted our acre of Rogue Farms cucumbers in mid-May.

Here’s some cucumber trivia you can use to impress your friends on this special day:

It’s not just beer that begins in the dirt. So does our Citrus Cucumber Soda...

Farm grown cucumbers are used in each batch of Rogue Citrus Cucumber Soda.

...And our Rogue Spirits Spruce Gin and Pink Spruce Gin.

We use 100lbs of hand planted, harvested, and peeled cucumbers in each batch of Rogue Gin.

Join us at Rogue Farms this summer to see were our beers, spirits, ciders and sodas begin, in the dirt.
