The End Is Near (For Hop Harvest)

The 2016 Rogue Farms Hop Harvest is coming to an end. We expect to have every cone picked, sorted, kilned, cooled and bailed by Sunday.

The 2015 harvest yielded nearly 70,000 lbs of dried hop cones from our 42-acre hopyard. We won’t know how this year compares for another week or so, every year it changes. That’s the risk that comes along with collaborating with Mother Nature to grow beer.

If you aren’t going to be able to make it to this year’s harvest, you can live vicariously thru our friends from Craft Brewing Business who came to visit this year.

We’re looking forward to kicking up our feet for a couple days before we start on the fall chores of repairing trellises, putting up wire on the new 10 acres of hops, and getting the farm ready for the winter.

Join us as we continue to Grow the Revolution! We’ll have tours this weekend on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm & 3pm.
