Hop Harvest Begins at Rogue Farms

Our 8th year of harvesting our own hops is now underway at Rogue Farm in Independence, Oregon, and we’re not the only ones excited.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be harvesting 8 of our 10 varieties of our proprietary hops. How do we do it?

The bines are driven over to the picker, where the cones are stripped away.

In the kiln, the hops are dried at 155 degrees for 6-8 hours.

Finally, the hops are baled and driven 77-miles to the Rogue Brewery in Newport, Oregon.
