There are three good reasons to bring your Mom to the Rogue Farms Hopyard for Mother’s Day.
1: Your Mom likes beer and we have lots of that.
2: Your Mom likes rock ‘n’ roll and we’ll have plenty of that, too.
3: You forgot to make reservations at some fancy place so it’s probably too late to get in. Rather than scramble for something at the last minute, bring her to the Hopyard and act like it was your plan the whole time. She’ll have more fun here anyway.
And that’s not all. Here’s what else is going on at the Rogue Farms Hopyard this weekend.
Three generations of the Morgan family (grandpa, two sons and one grandson) will be at Hopyard on Sunday to play a wide variety of rock ‘n’ classics. This is sing along kind of music because just about everyone, including your Mom, knows the lyrics. The cover charge is $5, but kids 12 and under get in free. The concert starts at 2:00pm.
CHICKS FOR FREE
You can also meet Nancy and her new chicks. They hang out by the Chatoe Rogue pecking for scraps and accepting “donations” from visitors.
WATCH THE HOPS GROW
The 2013 crop of Rogue Farms aroma hops is about knee high and almost ready to start running.
DRINK BEER AND EAT FOOD
We’ll be serving Rogue Farms Beer and Spirits (made with our farm grown hops and barley) at the Chatoe Rogue Tasting Room. We’ll also have our regular Chatoe menu and the Chuck Wagon will be open with special dishes made from the food we grow at the Hopyard.
