A Scholarship for Fermenters from Jack

Rogue founder Jack Joyce is remembered through this program at OSU.

Columbia Distributing joined Rogue Ales in remembering their friend and father, Jack Joyce, back in 2014 when they created the Jack Joyce Scholarship.

Jack’s vision, creativity, and innovation led Rogue to take daring risks that created one of the most successful breweries and distillers in the nation.

The Jack Joyce Scholarship seeks to award students with a passion and desire for mastering the art of brewing through Oregon State University’s Fermentation Science Program.

Scholarships are made possible through generous financial support from industry leaders, including Hop Valley Brewing Co., Coleman Agriculture, KG Specialties, Great Western Malting Co., the National Beer Wholesalers Association, Crux Fermentation Project, Saxco International, JVNW, Indie Hops and Gilgamesh Brewing.

This Friday, we are honored to award the most outstanding OSU Fermentation Science Program students with Jack’s scholarship.

The ceremony will take place in Corvallis at 5:30pm. Tickets are required.
