On a cold night in January, the Portland community came out to our Eastside pub to support a cause close to our hearts. Thanks to The Korean Mama and her son for inspiring an unforgettable evening supporting the World Central Kitchen’s relief efforts to provide food and meals to those devastated by the LA wildfires. The generosity of our incredible community allowed us to not only meet but exceed the fundraising goals we had to help those in LA who have been impacted by this tragic wildfire.
The meet-and-greet event highlighted The Korean Mama, a local Portland foodie influencer and international content creator, was filled with energy, excitement, and, most importantly, a shared commitment to giving back. Guests enjoyed meeting the Korean Mama herself (as well as her son, who runs her social media channels), participating in a prize-filled raffle and dining at our pub. 20% of all proceeds sold (food and beverages) during the event will be donated to the World Central Kitchen to help give back to the California community.
One of the evening’s most inspiring moments was seeing the joy guests experienced while meeting a positive influence in the content creator space. It was a reminder of why we gathered and why our local communities are such an important cornerstone of Rogue’s on-going commitment to giving back.
We are thrilled to announce that, together, we raised $1,000 for World Central Kitchen through our raffle, with added donations made directly from Rogue and The Korean Mama! These funds will directly support feeding the LA community who are working to rebuild after a historically tragic event.
If you’d like to donate, please visit the World Central Kitchen’s website for additional details. We also encourage you to stay connected with us for future community events via our blog, email newsletters and social media pages.
Once again, THANK YOU for being part of this incredible night and supporting Rogue and the Korean Mama in giving back to the LA community!
