Rogue Oregon Single Malt Whiskey opens with an attractive aroma of floral honey, peach and mango. Medium-to-full bodied, the aromas slowly transition to lush, ripe fruit and brown spice. The grains used are plowed, disced, harrowed, seeded, fed, watered, threshed, winnowed, malted, milled, mashed, fermented, distilled, smithed, barrel-aged and bottled by hand. Dead Guy Whiskey (paired with Dead Guy Ale) has a fresh orange citrus aroma with a delicately sweet, rich malt complex and a clean vanilla finish. It is distilled from the same malts as Rogue’s Platinum medal-winning Dead Guy Ale. Dead Guy Whiskey is Ocean-aged by both the Pacific Ocean and nearby Yaquina Bay.
Oregon Rye Malt Whiskey is rich in copper color with clean aromas of spiced nuts and dried fruits. It is plowed, disced, harrowed, seeded, fed, watered, threshed, winnowed, malted, milled, mashed, fermented, distilled, smithed, barrel-aged and bottled by hand. When you grow it, you know it.
Rolling Thunder Stouted Whiskey is a first of its kind. It’s made with barley grown on Rogue Farms and distilled from a wash that began as Dead Guy Ale, brewed right next to the distillery in Newport, Ore. It was first aged one year in new Oregon Oak (Quercus garryana) barrels crafted at our Rolling Thunder Barrel Works before aging two more years in barrels that had previously aged Rolling Thunder Imperial Stout. Rogue grains, beer, whiskey, barrels and the magic of Newport’s marine climate make this American Single Malt as unique as the hands that crafted it.
