Rogue Gets Spicey for Cinco de Mayo March 10, 2010 - (NEWPORT, OR): Rogue’s Chipotle Ale is Brewmaster John Maier’s salute to Cinco de Mayo. John added smoked Jalapeño peppers (Chipotle peppers) to his brew and balanced the spicy flavor with a good helping of hops. The recipe was inspired by Spanish author Juan de la Cueva, who, in 1575, wrote of a Mexican dish that combined seedless chipotles with ale. Chipotle’s smokiness is a perfect complement to Bar-B-Que, and its spiciness is a nice contrast to milder fare. Read the Full Release: Download PDF
Dog and Brew Festival! February 16, 2010 - (Newport, OR): Rogue Ales Brewery will host the 4th Annual Brewer’s Memorial Ale Festival on May 21-23 in Newport, OR in honor of Brewer, our revered Chairman and resident black lab who passed away in May 2006. The largest dog-friendly beer festival in the world, this year’s event will include 50+ microbreweries, live music, local seafood, and dog-inspired entertainment. Rogue Ales brings home sole Medal Awarded to a U. S. Brewery November 9, 2009 - (Strasbourg): Les organisateurs du Mondial de la bière de Strasbourg, l’événement brassicole de l’Europe, ont fait un bilan très positif de cette première édition qui s’est déroulée du 16 au 18 octobre. A Rogue Saint Designated The World's Best October 15, 2009 - (LONDON, England):Rogue Ales’ Dry Hopped St. Rogue Red was named the WORLD’S BEST PALE ALE. Held in London, England the 3rd Annual World Beer Awards are held over five months and three separate tastings. Their mission? To search the world for the very best beers. An international panel of judges tasted their way through hundreds of entries from the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Australia and beyond to find the winners of each style. These style winners then went head to head at a blind tasting event, where the best beers in each category were selected. Rogue Nation has put together a bailout plan to aid Rogue Nation citizens during these difficult financial times, appropriately named the Rogue Nation Bailout Program (RNBOP). Twice-a-day, at each of our embassies, the Rogue Nation Bailout Program pays 100% of a customer(s) tab. Each unsuspecting person or group is randomly chosen, inducted into the Rogue Nation (if not already a citizen) and relieved of their debt to Rogue. Rogue Spirits win 6 medals February 16, 2009 - (GENEVA, Switz.): Rogue Spirits was the most honored distillery at the World Beverage Competition, winning six medals in competition with the top distillers from 25 countries in “The Largest Beverage Competition in the World.” All spirits in the World Beverage Competition are judged by a panel of industry experts in the blind tasting method.
