Saturday, October 25, 2008 - Eugene Fresh Hops Beer Tastival
It's your once-a-year chance to taste what Oregon's finest brewmasters can do with just-picked hops. Sample more than 20 fresh hop beers from Oregon's top craft brewers, including Rogue's Independence Hop Ale. Admission is free; glasses are $5 (required to taste). Tastes are $1.

September 6 and 7, 2008 - The Gathering: The 6th Annual Longboard Classic. This renowned surf event will be held September 6 and 7 at South Beach State Park in Newport, Oregon. May 16 and 17 - Brewer's Memorial Ale Fest. The second annual Brewer's Memorial will be held on May 16 and 17 in Newport, Oregon. Proceeds will benefit the Oregon Humane Societies. The event was created as a memorial to Brewer, the faithful companion of Rogue Brewmaster, John Maier, until Brewer's passing on May 20th, 2006. Brewer grew up in the Rogue Brewery and came to be thought of as the true CEO of Rogue Ales.

The appropriately dog-friendly festival is held inside the Rogue Ales Brewery and includes participation by more than 30 Microbreweries. Featuring Live Music, Doggie Dancing, Doggie Olympics, Dog Wash, Door Prizes, Local Food, Arts and Crafts.

Live Music provided by the Ty Curtis Band, Whiskey Puppy, The Dick Danger Band, Gabriel Surley, Whiskey Robbers and more!

August 2 and 3, 2008 - Bones and Brew. This 14th annual festival will be held August 2 and 3 in the Pearl Dist rict of Portland, Oregon, with proceeds benefitting the Oregon Zoo. This family-friendly event will be a celebration of American backyard BBQ and will feature an Amateur Grilling Competition, BBQ Vendors, 30+ small craft Microbrewers, a Farmers' Market, and Live Classic Rock Music. August 23 and 24, 2008 - Great American Distillers Festival.This 4th annual event will be held August 23 and 24 at the Portland Center Stage Gerding Theater. The event is a gathering of small craft distilleries from across the country in recognition of Oregon's reputation as a Mecca of craft distilling. In addition to sharing their products, participating distillers will share their passion and their expertise in making world-class spirits.
