Back in 1988, Rogue rented a space in Newport, Oregon to start brewing beer. Mo Niemi rented to us on 2 conditions: we put a naked picture of her in the pub, and we agree to “take care of the fisherman.”

Mo believed that when times were hard you took care of your own, and then when times were good they’d take care of you. In addition to making World Class Products in World Class Packages, Rogue continues the tradition of giving that began in 1988.

Some things to know before you call, e-mail, or send a letter:

Know Rogue, be a Rogue Nation member, have a favorite Rogue.

Even better - have a brass nameplate at the bar, know the name of a bartender, have a dog in your family who actually met Brewer.

Rogue doesn’t do cash sponsorship.

Rogue doesn’t care about having a banner at an event.

Rogue doesn’t do checkbook charity.

Rogue does want to help David throw stones at Goliath – bigger isn’t always better.
